Warehouse manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise receiving, warehousing and distribution operations to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assign workloads and daily tasks to warehouse employees, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols, including the use of forklifts and other machinery.
  • Communicate with our customer service team to answer shipping and receiving questions and resolve issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff to improve their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall logistic operations.
PROFILE
  • Solid experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and inventory systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are an asset.
  • Forklift operator license.
  • Ability to communicate in French or English.*
